Becky is a Licensed Associate Counselor, Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and a Registered Yoga Teacher. She holds two Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Arizona and a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from The George Washington University. With a background in therapy and yoga, Becky tries to incorporate mindfulness whenever possible into all aspects of her work with clients and students. She aims to create a safe environment conducive to change, growth, and healing.
While it is her belief that mindfulness plays an essential part in the therapeutic process, Becky takes an integrative and creative approach to therapy, treating each individual with interventions best suited to their own unique experience. Becky has had the opportunity to work with individuals with disabilities in a vocational rehabilitation setting. She is also experienced in working with individuals adjusting to major life changes due to illness, existential uncertainty, or traumatic events, and those who are experiencing grief, loss, anxiety, and depression. She enjoys working with individuals of all ages, from young children to adults, as well as families.
