Bernadette is a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, Registered Dietitian, and Professional Yoga Therapist-Candidate. She earned her Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and is currently in the Doctorate program: ED.D of Community Care and Counseling with a specialization in Traumatology. Bernadette is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Bernadette utilizes a collaborative, person–centered approach integrating Christ centered counseling with Biblical principles for mental and spiritual health. She provides a Christian based perspective for those seeking to integrate their Christian faith into the counseling process as well as evidenced based therapies and welcomes clients from all backgrounds.
Bernadette has over 20 years in the healthcare industry both inpatient and outpatient in a variety of roles. Her passion is to provide hope and healing from life’s challenges in a confidential, non–judgmental, calm environment. Bernadette works with individuals, couples, and groups ages 11 and up. She is trained in EMDR, Certified Clinical Hypnotherapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Sensitive Yoga, Mindful Cognitive Based Therapy, Dialectical Based Therapy , Adlerian and pyschodynamic therapy. Bernadette works with people experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, eating disorders, body image, chronic health issues, mood disorders, relationship struggles and personality disorders.
