Nola (she/her) received her Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Northern Arizona University. Her therapy approach combines Gestalt techniques, existential therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness to meet the needs of a wide range of clients. She also has an interest in Jungian psychotherapy and sand tray therapy. She looks forward to working with teens and adults from all backgrounds with a variety of life experiences and challenges – from individuals with depression and anxiety to people in the criminal justice system to those navigating chronic pain and illness. She strives to create a safe space for her clients to speak openly and is LQBTQIA affirming. Nola believes that while people experience much suffering in life, finding compassion, support, and common humanity are key to navigating effectively through it.

Nola hails from Wyoming and received her undergraduate degree in education from Black Hills State University in South Dakota. She has spent the last decade teaching health, psychology, and physical education in alternative high schools in Tucson. She believes the desert and the saguaros are healing to her soul. She loves cycling, camping, playing cribbage, reading, and attempting to teach manners to her three-legged German Shepherd, Tre.
