Jarret Rosenblatt, LAC, completed his Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northern Arizona University. He has a previous degree in screenwriting from one of the world’s top film schools, the American Film Institute. Storytelling deeply informs his practice as a counselor: every client tells a story about themselves — that story has the power to help or hinder them.
As a former massage therapist, he also understands the importance of the mind-body connection, and that mindfulness — awareness of the present and our reactive patterns — is itself curative. There is no substitute for a client learning about themselves in the present moment. His counseling orientations include Gestalt, Narrative Therapy, Existential Therapy, and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy.
Jarret believes that clients are the experts on their own lives, and enjoys collaborating to find creative solutions from within the client.
