Greetings! I’m Marissa and I have a genuine passion and dedication for supporting individuals on their unique paths to well-being. I hold a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University. I’ve spent the last 5 years providing various mental health services across non-profit, faith-based, and educational settings.
Coming from a multicultural background, I am deeply committed to creating a space that embraces diversity and fosters inclusivity. I employ an eclectic approach rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT); however, I don’t hesitate to draw from other therapeutic approaches when they align with your specific needs and goals. In addition, for individuals who find solace in their Christian faith, I am delighted to integrate biblical principles and prayer into our treatment.
As a licensed therapist, our therapeutic connection is special—it’s a symbiotic relationship where I guide you through challenges, and you, in turn, contribute to the growth of my clinical skills. Within the warmth of our therapeutic space, I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental environment where your thoughts and emotions are not just heard but valued. Whether you’re navigating life transitions, managing stress, or seeking support for mental health concerns, like depression and anxiety, I am here, ready to explore and address your unique needs. Let’s embark on this transformative journey together.
