Hello, my name is Naomi Meadowcroft. I am a BHT and clinical intern with Cathexis, currently completing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northern Arizona University.
Before pursuing counseling, I spent over 13 years as a salon owner and cosmetologist. The relationships I built behind the chair gave me a deep appreciation for the power of connection and sparked my passion for helping people.
I enjoy working with adults, couples, and teens, and I approach therapy with authenticity, curiosity, and a genuine desire to create a safe, nonjudgmental space for exploration and growth. I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Psychodynamic approaches.
Outside the therapy room, I’m a mom to a blended family, a painter, a knitter, and a dog lover. Creativity and connection are central to both my personal life and my work – and I believe healing begins when we feel seen, understood, and free to be our authentic selves.
