Hi! I am a clinical intern currently completing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northern Arizona University. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychological Science from the University of Arizona (Bear Down, go Cats!) and have experience in both inpatient and outpatient behavioral health as a Case Manager and patient advocate, and as a Research Assistant on social and health psychology research projects at the UofA.
I look forward to working with teenagers and adults of all ages—either individually or as couples or families—struggling with depression and other mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, life changes (big or small), or who just need a listening ear to process what’s going on in their heads. Life on this planet can be a bit of a roller coaster, and while I can’t stop or start the coaster, I can help you grow more accustomed to the ride so it becomes enjoyable again.
I approach therapy through a person-centered and humanistic lens, taking inspiration from both Carl Rogers and Carl Jung. I believe that each of us is the expert of our own life experience, and that the journey of uniting the conscious and unconscious elements of our selves into one complete, whole self can lead to fulfillment and satisfaction. I am happy to become your guide to embark on this journey with you.
In my personal life, I thoroughly enjoy sports, music, and vintage clothing. On most Sundays, you’ll find me dressed in purple, occasionally yelling “SKOL,” as I root for the Minnesota Vikings. I am also a big fan of the Phoenix Suns and vividly remember the soul-crushing defeat of the 2021 finals. I love listening to rap/hip-hop, and grunge, hardcore, and punk rock music. I often dabble in pop and hyperpop as well, and I regularly partake in dancing and karaoke.
