Always coming from a place of curiosity, I have a deep interest in figuring out what makes each of us so unique. When it comes to therapy I see the importance of creating an alliance between myself & the client where they can feel comfortable in knowing they are the only thing that’s of importance when they are working with me. As complex creatures ourselves I approach therapy with an ever expanding tool box utilizing Evidence-Based Therapies (such as CBT, Behavior Activation or Mindfulness), Motivational Interviewing & Person-Centered while allowing room for the more symbolic attributes to our personalities to be explored through the Psychoanalytic Approach. In the end it really comes down to what myself & the client feels is the best course of action with the client in charge of this growth. With a huge passion for the outdoors, future integration of nature in therapy is something I’d be interested to expand on in this profession.
I’m eager to help out in whatever area you feel needs improvement or to provide the space & time to process through past events. I work well with teens/young adults but am open to all ages, couples & families who are open to uncovering a greater understanding towards their being & relationships.
